What each session needs

Date, training/event title, provider and hours — the basic record any appraisal process will ask for.
Session type — workshop, webinar, conference, peer observation, coaching/mentoring, self-directed, online course, whole-school PD, department PD.
What changed — the one field most logs never ask, and the one that actually matters a year later when you're writing a reflection or applying for a new role.

Applies across any subject or curriculum

Unlike scheme-of-work or assessment tracking, CPD isn't tied to a specific curriculum — this structure works the same whether you teach DP, MYP, Cambridge, a national curriculum, or anything else. It's one of the few genuinely universal records in a teacher's toolkit.
